Tale of a Web Entrepreneur - $40 to $952 in 48 hours

I am a serial web entrepreneur. I enjoy making new businesses and seeing whether they sink or swim – if they sink, then they get abandoned and left to rot, sometimes making the occasional sale and if they do well, then I run them for a while and sell them off when I get an interesting offer... What I like to do is set up websites; these websites sell products that can be paid for and downloaded by my customer without intervention from me. I call these my Automated Income Streams (AIS) – some work great, some work not so great. As of this moment in time, I have about 15 AIS websites which produce viable income. I'm going to explain to you in this short eBook, the exact steps I took when creating my latest AIS Website which in it's first 48 hours earned $952.40 from an initial outlay of just $40 plus a couple of hours of my time.

Click the Buy Now Button to purchase and download the eBook telling my story of the first 48 hours of my latest AIS Site...I've priced it low at $9.97 (about £5.00) :-) Bear in mind, that this is my abridged story about the first 48 hours of my newest AIS - it doesn't really contain any great tips for creating your own AIS...it's just a diarised rundown of the what's and where's of how I made $952 in 48 hours. Cheers, Gary

An interesting read. Congratulations on your successes!

As you mentioned (and I don't mean to give anything away) the ebook is a specific case study detailing how you managed to turn a certain idea into hard cash - but to an extent it depended on a 'one-off' set of circumstances.

Could I suggest that in the future it might be worth exploring some more general AIS topics - i.e. ways that the average joe like myself could hope to make that kind of money, without relying on your specialist background/connections?

Sure, it is somewhat of a "right place at the right time" AIS, but shows the power of what an AIS can do for your bottom line.

Glad you found the read interesting!

More general stuff is covered in this Blog and others (see links in side panel) - there's loads of juicy posts giving ideas and advice...

A good read. I do agree with Tom about writing more general guides such as how to develop and market an information product, etc., but this was an interesting read into the play by play I had been getting glimpses of over the past 48 hours.

Good job Gary, you keep getting my mind chugging along :)

I could write a more general guide, but there is already loads of these available - if anyone wanted I could source some...

you keep getting my mind chugging along

That's what it's all about :-) If I can spur on someone else to a good result, that's my job done!

BTW, I had another $118 commission earlier on :-)

What would really make my day is if tomorrow Gary does a post on "How I made $1200 yesterday telling people how I made $952 dollars the day before that" and sell me another ebook :P

Also, bear in mind that the two main "tools" I used to create the income are things I've posted about for people to become involved in;

~ the particular forum which I recommended (which supplied the targetted traffic) - obviously that one is now closed as it's membership is full, but at the time I recommended it, it was definately open all hours...
~ the particular piece of software (for which the product was made to plug into)

So, really anyone could have done the same thing with a bit of prep/thought, what do you think?

I do agree that it was somewhat easier for me to make the actual product though, but that was a case of sourcing from elsewhere and cutting'n'pasting a few bits and pieces to make it all work nicely...

In other words, I believe that anyone could have gotten in and made this AIS their own! Perhaps it would have taken more time than it took me, but even so, if it took 10 hours for someone, a $1200 return is not so bad for 10 hours work, with the ongoing AIS income that the site will bring...

Does it make sense ?
