Been so busy

I've been so busy for the last few days, that I've not had a chance to update the Blog. Apologies to regular readers! The AIS from the 22nd -> 28th inclusive was 84% above target - so that area of my online endeavours is going very well. Template sales dropped off over the past week, but eBook sales picked up. It's something I've noticed over the past couple of years, sales tend to go in peaks and troughs. I'll need to start promoting the templates again shortly! As regular readers will know, the owner of osCommerce has some personal issues with me - I don't know what or why, even though I have asked for clarification many times. Harald has refused to let me be a Corporate Sponsor (ie pay for advertising). I'm considering selling one of my osCommerce Commercial Sites; I sent email to Harald Ponce de Leon asking "if I sell it, would the new owner be able to start with a clean sheet". No reply as yet. It would be quite unfair if the new owner was unable to take part in the services provided by osCommerce because of Haralds personal problem(s) with me! What else. I got a couple more people onto the Adsense Adventure! So hopefully they'll see some good results. I also got paid by Google, so that'll be a nice week away somewhere, shortly. Thanks Google. I still haven't received my Armband from EssentialiPods, but it may be waiting for me at the office (I haven't checked the post yet). With the autumnal weather here, I decided to fit mudguards to my bike. They look a little bit crap, but I guess they'll stop the mud and rain from covering me. I also need to buy a new set of cycling gloves as mine are literally falling apart at the seams. Ho hum, the life of an Interweb Entrepreneur, eh. Who'd want it! ;)

New URL: www.osworld.biz - thanks!

Gary, Are you still making more adsense $$$ on your automatically built sites, or the ones that you put time into? What site builder are you using?

I use nicheportalbuilder.com (it's pricey but worth hte expense in my opinion).

I make $ across all the sites, generated or not. Note though that the generated sites that I build do have extra work done on them (rss feeds, content, articles, ebooks etc). They're not just "churn them out" sites (though a lot of peoples are just that)...

Anyway, more news, I cycled into Town to collect my iPod armband. Very nice it is too. There is just one problem that I noticed already - if you have quite big arms (fat or muscular) these armbands won't fit. So if you are "large", beware of this!

I am neither fat nor muscular. I am your typical 7-stone weakling ;)

Hi Gary,
If you ever need RSS feeds I can supply them on any topic you want. The feeds can be used on commercial sites.

JR - thanks :)

Jamez - have a hunt on google - there's quite a few examples that can be seen. Most people don't like to post up URLs as then others my build into their chosen niche...

Thanks for the url Burt, obviously I did look there first but all I found were affiliate links to the software.
Tis appreciated sir.
One last question, do you only use the directory builder alone?
Thanx
Jamez

Jamez - I do only use the Directory Generator part. But I don't use it with the defaul template that comes with it. I've done a fair bit of work to make the websites more useful than just a "bunch of links"...
